12 Things an Injured Victim Should Know

This is the seventh post in our weekly blog series: 12 Things an Injured Victim Should Know.

Keep an accurate record of all time that you have lost from work because of your injuries. This would include time lost because of doctor’s appointments or physical therapy. It is most helpful if you keep your paystubs so your attorney has verification of the time you have missed from work. Your attorney will want to know the exact dates and number of hours that you missed from work, along with the total lost wages. It is also a good idea to keep track of your mileage, as your attorney may be able to make a claim for this as well.
