Multiple crashes during rush hour on March 14, 2011 stopped traffic on Interstate 229 near 10th Street in Sioux Falls, SD.
The first accident occurred when a woman was cut off by another driver, swerving into a nearby vehicle as a result. The second, which happened in the northbound lanes of I-229, involved at least four cars.
Traffic was backed up in both directions as a result of the crashes. Fortunately, the South Dakota Highway Patrol reported that no one was injured in either of the crashes.
Our thoughts are with all of those affected by these South Dakota car accidents. We are glad that no one was seriously injured.
