Multiple Wrecks Stop Traffic on I-229 in South Dakota

Multiple crashes during rush hour on March 14, 2011 stopped traffic on Interstate 229 near 10^th Street in Sioux Falls, SD.

The first accident occurred when a woman was cut off by another driver, swerving into a nearby vehicle as a result. The second, which happened in the northbound lanes of I-229, involved at least four cars.

Traffic was backed up in both directions as a result of the crashes. Fortunately, the South Dakota Highway Patrol reported that no one was injured in either of the crashes.
