A Chadron, NE man died last week in a South Dakota car wreck off Highway 79 in Fall River County, South Dakota.
Anthony Blunt, 25, was riding in a car driven by 27-year-old Andrew Blunt, his older brother, when they were involved in a single-vehicle rollover crash.
According to police, the brothers were driving home to Nebraska when their 2000 Dodge Stratus went off the road and rolled into a ditch.
Both men were wearing their seatbelts at the time of the crash. Andrew received only minor injuries, while his brother, Anthony, died on the scene.
South Dakota Highway Patrol Trooper Todd Albertson says that the investigation of the crash is still ongoing, but that neither speed nor alcohol seems to be a factor.
Our sympathies go out to all of those affected by this tragic accident.
