A single-vehicle car accident near Sioux Falls, SD killed one person and injured another around 7:30 a.m. on Friday, June 3, 2011.
According to the Minnehaha County Sheriff's office, 66-year-old Ramadan Suljic was driving on Interstate 29 with 38-year-old passenger Jasmin Omerovic when the wreck occurred.
Suljic reportedly lost control of the vehicle, entered the median of the highway, overcorrected the steering, and veered into a ditch on the opposite side of the roadway.
Suljic was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident. Omerovic, who was injured but not killed in the crash, was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. Both men are from Fargo, ND.
